Easter

My eyes open and I see
it is He!
My Lord, My God

It’s Different Now

The glassy sea is slippery; the dirt road is full of grit.
Everywhere I look is eerie; maybe I’d better just sit.

Woman at the Well

How a pebble could appear a stone
strong enough to build a life upon
if but could be seen from atom view.

Still

Turn, turn world! I will be still
and leave the moving up to you.

I Rode My Bike This Morning

I rode my bike this morning for
the exercise and healthy air;
for longer life I took a ride.

Consumed by Fire

Die for me! Come for me!
And now you say you’ll save me.
I fall at your feet Lord.
All that I am.

Walk Slowly Beside the Road

As others rush past
And do not hurry to catch up.
At last you will. At last.
