11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his flocks and herds?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”

Observation: I am impressed, intrigued, and motivated by Jesus’ way of entering into a deeper/spiritual conversation with this woman. She will basically talk herself right into faith in Jesus.
Action: Lately, I have been praying and looking for the people God wants me to connect with wherever I happen to be in that day. And, God has been providing so many opportunities it’s been amazing! My plan is to institute more of Jesus’ way, questions that help people move deeper.
Observation: Jesus never tells people they must do this, or they must do that. He basically tells them they can settle for what the world has to offer, or they can lean into him and get something more.
Action: I’m realizing that the best way to lean into the ‘more’ that Jesus has to offer is to cut out something the world has thrust upon me. I achieve more during Lent when I cut out something. I will keep looking for ways to do that.
