GOOD NEWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM OF SIN
John 8:4-7 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “If any one of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”

PERCEPTION // What I see/hear God saying/doing:
Lord, what I hear in Your words and see in Your outward actions is what flows from within Your heart. You see our sin, yet Your heart is always beating with grace and truth toward the sinner. You never hurl stones at or bring hurt to people. You simply come to bring healing and protection.
PLAN // What I am going to do about it:
Jesus, recently instead of casting some cares to You, I’ve found it easier to cast some verbal stones against one who has sinned against me. Today – I repent of my hardness of heart and will seek out this person to speak healing words of forgiveness to them.
PRAYER // Seal the deal:
Jesus, as I listen, Your Word shines bright shafts of light to the dark areas of my heart. Thank you for speaking to me, continually loving me and mentoring me through my sin.
