Your Heavenly Father Will Never Withhold What You Need

February 22, 2013 by Church Without Shoes

GOOD NEWS 4 SEEKERS SUNDAY

Matthew 7:7-9 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. “For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. “Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone?

Morgan Murray

PERCEPTION // What I see/hear God saying/doing:
I see Jesus being so certain of the Father’s character that He can say to His disciples, “I promise: Your heavenly Father will never withhold what you need. Just ask!”

PLAN // What I am going to do about it:PLAN // What I am going to do about it:
This week, I will start each day bringing my schedule to God in prayer, asking my Heavenly Father for what I need to accomplish the day’s work.

PRAYER // Seal the deal:
Spirit of Jesus, give me the same confidence in the Father that You have, as I start asking and stop worrying about how to do it in my own strength.

Morgan, I cut and pasted what you wrote that you heard God saying, because it hit me powerfully. Jesus so knew His Father’s character. He had no doubt. Thank you. May it be so for all God’s children in this valley. Amen.
